Today My Group and I edited and cut all of our shots. We also started to fit and piece them into our imovies and do a practice run. Ialso went through the stills from the night before, and picked 20 photos which we are trying to get into a collage of a 20 to 25 second piece very much like the intro of the television show 'How I met your mother'. We played around with effects of the piece and are finalising tommorow. Here is a clip of the effect in which we are trying to intimidate yet add our own style to it.

4th day of Film Work
Today was the most productive piece of filming and editing. As a group we edited all the footage from our previous 3 days on imovies on a mac. I shot the next shot of the girl. I also shot the stills conveying that night when the group of people go out by employing some of our fellow peers to partcipate in our production.
3rd day of Film Work

Today I travelled to London. I filmed my abstract tube sequence by myself. Taking a lot of different cuts in which the letters could be distorted or adapted to create my titles. I also redid the cuts of the door showing the key and the one in which the door slams. I took a lot of footage leaving me with a lot of editing tommorow.

Second day of filming
On the second day of filming we redid the close up of Ellie in the mirror. We also moved on to the shots of getting a low shot of a girl putting a heel on. We struggled with the closeup of the ledge and the accessories for the night time sequence due to the lighting and the mis-en-scene and we are due to improve it on the third day. This weekend I am embarking upon filming the abstract tube shots in london and re-doing the shots of the key and door as it is too obvious that it was in a school building.
1st day of Film Work
First day of filiming, Awwal, Ellie and I recorded the first shot of the intro in his room. Shes looking into the mirror, putting on some make-up and you see her reflection on the mirror. It is a mid shot of her body. It took us a bit of time to get used to using the camera but we managed to film it correctly. The shot is just two seconds. When we finished we looked at what we recorded and decided a close up will work better in making it a bit more like an intro.

Film Introduction Idea (Coursework)
For my film introduction I was planning on making a Romantic Comedy. A very fast paced, quick cutting two minute piece. The film would be based in London, about the life of three male flat mates and their relationship with women. My idea was to have a voice over, very much along the lines of Hitch or Love Actually as the day time starts. I was planning on showing the london night life in a variety of different shots from gigs, to clubs. In a similiar fashion to the way "Empire State Of Mind", the Jay-Z Music video is shot with some quick cuts and sometimes the use of actual pictures.

I would be using central london mostly but without introducing the charachters just yet. Using a feel good party song, self created, along the lines of "Ooh Wee" by Mark Ronson. I would then depict the transition of night time to day time with a fade and the sun rising. The morning would be filmed in very much the same fashion as "Open Your Eyes", the Snow Patrol music video showing the journey of a car. This idea is slightly changed though as it would be through the eyes of a person and it would start at Leicester Square and continually get off at every station along the piccadily line showing a fair bit of central london and giving the film some bearing. The Camera/person would finally get off at Earls Court station and continue to the flat. It would be fast pace again yet it would dramatically slow down as a good looking girl walks past, and then continue to the regular pace until it reaches the front door of the flat. The camera would progress through the flat as the door is left ajar. Their would be items of clothing scattered around the floor as the camera continues the journey to the three bedrooms. It would then introduce the three main characters as they all say good bye to a different girl consecutively. The Camera would then switch to actions rather than people as the kettle would be turned on. Bacon on the frying pan.Toaster pushed down. Then conversation would resume and the introduction would finish
